Arrival in Xi'an — Bell Tower at Night & First Taste of the City

Tang Dynasty Xi'an — History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda & Cultural Park

The morning begins at Shaanxi History Museum, one of China's most important collections of imperial artefacts spanning the Bronze Age through the Tang Dynasty. You continue to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda — a seven-storey Tang Dynasty structure built to house scriptures brought from India by the monk Xuanzang — set within the grounds of the Great Ci'en Temple. The afternoon takes in Xi'an Art Museum and the Tang Paradise, a large-scale cultural park reconstructed in the Tang imperial style. The evening programme includes "The Longest Day in Chang'an," a themed cultural experience, followed by a night walk through the Grand Tang Ever-Bright City, known for its illuminated streetscape and live Tang Dynasty performances. Day 03 :

Terracotta Warriors, Huaqing Palace & Song of Everlasting Regret

The morning is spent at the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor Museum in Lintong District, home to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses — thousands of life-sized ceramic soldiers, horses, and chariots entombed over two millennia ago to guard Qin Shi Huang in the afterlife, and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch is at Huaqing Palace Cuisine Garden. Day 04 :

Ancient City Walls & Cultural Lanes — Calligraphy, Crafts & Night BBQ

The day begins on top of the Xi'an City Wall — a 14-kilometre circuit of Ming Dynasty fortifications that encircle the old city and offer raised views over the surrounding streets. You continue to the Forest of Stone Steles Museum, a repository of inscribed stone tablets and one of China's most important collections of calligraphy and historical records. The afternoon moves through Shuyuanmen Pedestrian Street, lined with calligraphy studios and art and craft shops, then along Xiangzimiao Street and Defu Lane, both known for their distinctive old-alley character and independent cultural businesses. Lunch is at Jiancheng Xiaochi for local snacks; dinner is at Xiao Yang's BBQ, a popular Xi'an barbecue institution.

Drum Tower & Departure

The final morning begins with a visit to the Drum Tower, the companion landmark to the Bell Tower at the heart of the ancient city.
